  • I had always considered Al GFranken as the Senate Clown prince, since it took four months of recounts before they could find enough Democratic votes to elect him. Minnesota was considered so poor that we could only afford one Senator. He has finally done some good.

  • I totally agree. The public defender said that he couldn't keep me out of jail, even though I was innocent. He talked me into a plea bargain and I accepted a conviction for disorderly conduct. My criminal record shows that I was arrested for domestic abuse and pleaded down to disorderly conduct.

  • Why do we have so many repeat offenders? Because society wants it that way. Most men behind bars are guilty, but 5-7% of them are not, but they, too, will end up as repeat offenders.

  • It's not like we didn't see it coming. The States and larger municipalities have been abusing the public trust for more than 100 years. We had to reach the end of the line someday. Illinois and California lead the list of abusers, but they are not alone.

  • All guns should be banned? If I were a bank robber, burglar, rapist or any other kind of violent criminal, I'd go right along with you. Society is safest when the criminals don't know who is armed. Would you also ban guns from police officers, guards, soldiers and boy scouts?
